Our Stem Programs
Robotics Programming & Competitive Builds
Students at Pilgrim’s Progress CDC learn the foundations of robotics by building and programming their machines.
From concept to competition, they gain firsthand experience in engineering, coding, and teamwork.

Drone Training & FAA TRUST Certification
Our drone training program gives students direct access to one of today’s most in-demand technologies.
We also help students earn their FAA TRUST (The Recreational UAS Safety Test) certification — a nationally recognized credential that introduces them to career pathways in public safety, construction, media, and beyond.

STEM & Workforce Development
Empowering Youth with 21st-Century Skills
At Pilgrim’s Progress CDC, we are preparing today’s youth to become tomorrow’s innovators, leaders, and problem-solvers. Our STEM & Workforce Development initiative is designed to ignite curiosity, build technical skills, and expose students to real-world career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math.
Through hands-on activities, mentorship, and industry exploration, we help students develop the confidence and skills they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.

Career visits from local professionals including the Fort Wayne Police Department’s drone unit

Career Visits & Industry Exposure
We believe students should see what’s possible. That’s why we invite local professionals to share their experiences and demonstrate how STEM is used in their everyday work.
Special highlights include visits from the Fort Wayne Police Department’s drone unit, giving students a unique look into how technology supports law enforcement and public safety.
These real-world encounters spark inspiration and help youth envision a future they can pursue with
